Full-Time Children Services Manager

To manage and deliver an integrated out-of-school childcare service within a school setting for children.
To lead a term-time after-school club and holiday playschemes (10 weeks per year) in a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment.
To work with early years children in the crèche as needed, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding.
To manage and supervise staff, act as the main point of contact for parents, and support their training and development.
To ensure all services meet Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and reflect equality and inclusion for all children.
To oversee administrative, financial, and operational tasks related to the service, including health and safety and inspection readiness.
To maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times.

Provide a safe, secure, and engaging learning environment.
Lead staff in delivering a well-rounded educational and play programme.
Manage staff records, supervisions, and support safer recruitment.
Deliver learning-focused activities, including helping children with homework.
Act as Deputy Safeguarding Officer and complete relevant training.
Assist with monitoring reports and liaise with funders (e.g. London Borough of Islington).
Maintain all documentation in line with Ofsted requirements.
Support the delivery of creche services and youth club programmes.
Ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding, equality, and health & safety standards.
Handle inspections and coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders.
Be flexible to work across sites and at varying hours depending on service needs.

Salary: £17,490 – £34,980 per annum
(Based on working 52 weeks a year including holiday playschemes)
