Solar Panel Delivery Driver & Installation Trainee – Career Progression Opportunity
Location: North London & South London (Multiple Depot Locations)

Salary: £18.00 per hour + Paid Training
Hours: 5 days per week | 9-hour shifts (Including paid lunch break)

We are seeking skilled and professional drivers to join our team, supporting the delivery and installation of high-quality solar panel materials. This is more than just a driving role – you will be the face of our company, representing our brand directly to customers.
Due to the diverse nature of our customer base, language skills are highly valued. Candidates who are fluent in English plus Spanish, French, or Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply.
You will be based at our secure processing and packaging depot, transporting sensitive solar materials to installation sites. Full training on delivery procedures and product handling will be provided.
✅ What We Are Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence (Category required: Class 2 / VAN licence).
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (where applicable).
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence (subject to role requirements).
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliability and commitment to working a minimum of 5 days per week.
- Willing to travel across North and South London sites.
- Ability to pass a Health and Safety clearance and health assessment (required for site access).
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Previous logistics or delivery experience.
- Experience handling sensitive or valuable materials.
- Multilingual skills (Spanish, Portuguese, or French) – a bonus for customer communication.

✅ Where You’ll Be Working
This is a mobile role covering multiple sites. You’ll travel to residential and commercial job sites across:
North London / South London- N1, N5, N7, N19, N22SW4, SW8, SW9, SE1, SE5, SE15
You must be willing to travel across both North and South London as required.
Your Role: More Than Just Driving
Phase 1: Delivery Driver
- Safely transport solar panels and equipment to job sites.
- Load, secure, and unload materials without damage.
- Inspect vehicles and keep them clean and roadworthy.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with operations and installation teams.
- Complete delivery and job-related documentation accurately.
Phase 2: Installation Trainee
- Work alongside experienced installers to learn the trade.
- Assist with mounting, wiring, and system setup under supervision.
- Learn ladder and rooftop safety protocols.
- Prepare materials and keep sites clean and organised.
Phase 3: Qualified Installer
- Progress to a fully-fledged Solar Panel Installer.
- Lead jobs and train new team members.
- Earn higher pay and take on more responsibility.
